Vlucht naar mijn droom

Het leven van Seka Dobric kende een ellendig begin. Ze leefde in armoede en ontbering, zonder uitzicht op een beter leven. Ze moest haar moeder, haar broertjes en haar zusje beschermen tegen de dronken woedeaanvallen van haar vader. Maar Seka heeft dat ellendige bestaan achter zich kunnen laten. Ze leerde vreemde talen en behaalde een diploma. Ze redde haar familie uit de oorlog in Joegoslavië. Niks of niemand kon haar tegenhouden om de vrouw te worden die ze wilde zijn, om te vluchten naar haar droom.

Het lelijke eendje uit Bosnië, zoals Seka heel lang naar zichzelf heeft gekeken, bloeide in België helemaal open. Ze maakte carrière in de luchtvaart en werd verkozen tot de mooiste dame van het land. Ze leerde de man van haar leven kennen en bouwde met hem een succesvol bedrijf op, Sedobi Wellness. Ze zette twee zonen op de wereld, haar oogappels. Het leven van Seka Dobric is te mooi en te ontroerend om niet verteld te worden. Van dit boek droomde ze zelf al jaren. Ook deze droom heeft ze nu waargemaakt.
